YOHO

2018.

2018 was a summer of record-breaking forest fires in Yoho National Park.

Smoke blew in from burning valleys nearby and turned the mountains colors I'd never seen them before.

I've been making art about this place for as long as I can remember, but this was my first time bringing a film camera. My most intimate landscape.
